My document failed to analyze. What should I do?

ContractShield accepts PDFs (under 1.5 MB), photos taken with your camera (JPEG or PNG), and pasted plain text. DOCX files are not supported — copy and paste the text instead. If a PDF fails, try taking a photo of the document or pasting the text directly. If the problem persists, email us with the file type and size and we'll investigate.

Is my contract stored on your servers?

No. Your document is analyzed and immediately discarded — it is never written to disk or retained after the analysis completes. Only the results (risk scores, clause summaries, key dates) are saved to your account.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → ContractShield → Cancel Subscription. You can also tap "Manage Subscription" in the ContractShield Account screen, which takes you directly there. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the ContractShield purchase. If you have a billing question we can help with, email support@getcontractshield.app.

What types of contracts does ContractShield support?

ContractShield works best with employment agreements, NDAs, freelance contracts, lease agreements, and service agreements. It is designed for general contract review and is not a substitute for legal advice on complex or high-stakes matters.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

Is ContractShield legal advice?

No. ContractShield provides AI-powered risk analysis to help you understand your contracts, but it is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. For significant legal matters, consult a licensed attorney.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email support@getcontractshield.app from the address associated with your account and request deletion. We will permanently remove your account and all stored analysis results within 30 days.
